The Fleck 5600 and 5600 SXT are typically best for homes less than 3,000 square feet. For homes larger than this, regardless of pipe size, the 7000 SXT is highly recommended.
Ideally, the Fleck valve you select should also present an optimal match to your pipe size and flow rate. The Fleck 5600 and 5600 SXT are ideally paired with 3/4-inch and 1-inch pipes where the continuous flow rate is 20 GPM and the max is 37 GPM.
For pipes larger than 1 inch and flow rates ranging between a continuous flow rate of 27 GPM and a max of 35.5 GPM, the 7000 SXT is most compatible.
